Getting Your Students Signed In

Modified on Mon, 15 May 2023 at 09:27 AM

NOTE:  If you have configured your Virtual Business to be accessed via an external LMS such as Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, etc. then your students SHOULD NOT access the Virtual Business simulation via our website.  They should access the simulations directly from your LMS.

Students can sign in to the simulation by visiting vb.knowledgematters.com. They should enter the information which they registered with in the previous steps. Once they are successfully signed in, they should see the following screen:

Students should then click the link for your course name and begin working on the first lesson. This will bring them to their Lesson Page as shown below:

NOTE: If you've configured your course to exclude quizzes or simulations those will not be shown. The lessons will be displayed in the order you have configured, and if a lesson has been excluded it will not be shown.

In the default course configuration, students will do the reading, take a reading quiz, take a math quiz, then do a simulation exercise for each lesson. The simulation exercises contain step-by-step instructions. The project, which is done after all lessons are complete, does not include reading or quizzes but involve more comprehensive work in the simulation exercise.
