Help bot is designed to assist professors in quickly diagnosing issues within a student's project simulation by comparing the student's simulation to known successful runs and suggesting actions. To watch a video that explains how to interpret the information presented in Help bot, click here.
By default, Help bot is enabled only for instructors, but it can also be enabled for students. To enable Help Bot for students, please follow the instructions below:
1. Log into your instructor account.
2. From the "Your Courses" page, select the link for the course that you wish to configure.
3. Select the Change Course Settings link on the Course Details page.
4. Select the accordion option Student Assistance Level.
5. Click the radio button next to "Instructors and Students Can View Help Bot" to enable Help Bot for students.
Click the Submit button to save your changes.
Once enabled, students will be able to access Help Bot by going File > Help Bot from within their simulations.
