Translating Simulations into Another Language (VB Essentials)

Modified on Tue, 26 Mar at 8:47 AM

As our simulations are mostly text based, they can be translated by most internet browser's built-in translation features.

To access this may vary depending on the internet browser your school uses, but generally right-clicking a page in an empty space will bring up a menu that has a translation option.  The white space under the simulation instructions are a good spot.

From here you can select the language you would like and the simulation questions and other text will be translated for you.

Please see below for examples from some more popular browsers, your browser may vary depending on what version you are currently using.

Note:  The steps shown below can also be used to translate the Reading Materials and Quizzes in the simulation.

Chrome:

Edge:

Safari: (operating in iOS 15 and 14)

  1. Launch Safari and open the website you want to translate.
  2. Tap the AA icon from the address field and select Translate to English.

Note: If you are using the feature the first time, a pop-up will appear. Select Enable Translation to turn on the web page translation feature in Safari.
