Unable to Access Assignments

Modified on Wed, 10 Apr at 5:00 AM

If you are unable to access assignments in your Case Simulation, please check the following:

Tutorial and/or Honor Code Not Completed:

Make sure that the Simulation Tutorial and Honor Code, if included, have been completed.  These are mandatory and will need to be completed prior to any other assignments becoming available.

Start Date for Assignment Not Reached:

If your instructor has set individual Start Dates for assignments and that Start Date has not yet been reached, the assignment will not be available till that date.

Previous Assignment Not Completed:

If your instructor has configured their Case Simulation to require that all previous assignments be completed prior to beginning the next assignment, you will need to verify that all components of all previous assignments are completed before you can access the next assignment.

Note:  If your instructor reset a previous assignment, you will need to complete that assignment prior to completing any new assignments.

Missed Due Date:

If your instructor has set individual due dates for the assignments and not configured their course to automatically assign a grade for missed assignment, you will not be able to access the next assignment once the due date for the assignment has passed.  You will need to speak with your instructor as they will need to do one of the following:

  • Grant you a due date extension on any previous assignment missed.
  • Manually assign a grade to the assignment(s) that you missed.

Knowledge Matters CANNOT grant due date extensions or manually assign grades.  If your instructor requires assistance with either of these, they will need to contact our Support Department directly and we will be happy to assist them.
